The style

'Cosmic Blouse & Trouser Coordinate' is an easy-going two piece set. A mandarin collar blouse is cut to a relaxed fit and has three-quarter length voluminous balloon sleeves with elasticated cuffs. It has a concealed button placket, with a decorative vintage button at the inner collar. Trousers feature a drawstring and are elasticated at the waist. Tuck the blouse in to create a jumpsuit look or leave the blouse out for a cool casual attitude. They also look great when worn separately.

The fabric

'Pines, Chrysanthemums and Butterflies in Mink Grey' is a 'Bingata' style print in chic warm grey. 'Bingata' was the traditional textile art of the Ryukyu Kingdom (present day Okinawa, southern islands in Japan), and later adopted by craftspeople in the other parts of Japan as its popularity grew. The Bingata pattern resembles Javanese, Indian and Chinese textile art due to the proximity and close relationships of Okinawa to those counties. A mid weight fabric with a sturdy texture.
