The style

'Cosmic Blouse & Trouser Coordinate' is an easy-going two piece set. A mandarin collar blouse is cut to a relaxed fit and has three-quarter length voluminous balloon sleeves with elasticated cuffs. It has a concealed button placket, with a decorative vintage button at the inner collar. Trousers feature a drawstring and are elasticated at the waist. Tuck the blouse in to create a jumpsuit look or leave the blouse out for a cool casual attitude. They also look great when worn separately.

'Bamboo and Tanzaku Strips in Navy' is a robust and rich fabric with a charming classical pattern. It is slightly heavier than usual and has a dry texture.

• Silk crepe known as ‘Hama Chirimen’ woven in the Nagahama region in Shiga prefecture
• Print motif — Flowers, foliage, bamboo and Tanzaku strips (sheets of paper for poetry writing) in a design known as the Keicho-era (1596 to 1615) style
• Colours — Orange, sage green, purple and brown on a navy background
